oh, the idea of putting cigarettes into a body of water is BAD BAD BAD BAD. seriously. do you know if you let a cigarette soak in a cup of plain water, then drink it you can literally DIE! look it up. so dumping 1000s of cigarettes into the canal doesnt seem like the smartest idea. tho i have no idea if any animals get their water from the canal, but it probably goes into other bodies of water no?
