I still am, DIBS, but my family is interfaith (to the extent Unitarianism, or even my Judaism, can be properly described as a “faith”). We go to several church services around Christmas and Easter.
OK, so we were sitting at the Christmas Carol service at Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims. Excellent choir, beautiful stained glass windows, traditional New-England style church setting, the spirit of abolitionist minister Henry Ward Beecher gently informing the proceedings, etc. And I look up (toward heaven, I guess) and what do I see? A ceiling riddled with recessed lighting. Not that it bothered me, but the fact that I even noticed it and thought about it even fleetingly in Brownstonean terms goes to show how bad a brain worm this site has become.

I put up our Christmas tree and decorated the house over the weekend.
Oh, I missed the announcement!
Slope, more important question is….what was a Jew doing in a church during Hanukkah?
I thought slopefarm was Jewish???

I told it already – our little company has been taken over by a big company.
Snaps – Chicken told us last week. Job security & moving offices.
Slopey, it’s a disease that gets us all at the most unexpected times 🙂
