I was walkin down Crosby this morning and I notice this dude – decked out in typical soho eurotrash chic – I notice his choice of headwear, it’s a yamaka but it says “The Soho Synagogue” on it

I go to their website and it says “A Hipster Synagogue grows in Soho” Anyone know what’s up with this place??

  2. Last word for me on stevieb: like Noki, I have a feeling he and I probably agree on quite a few socioeconomic issues, despite the fact he perceives me as a Wall Street fat cat. However, the schtick he does here is just tired and transparent. DIBS says he’s much different in his emails. I guess I don’t see why he has to be such a caricature here. IMO, it devalues his opinions. He’s actually quite likable when he is “on the meds” like he was around Thanksgiving and not doing the I-hate-this-website-and-everyone-on-it routine, but unfortunately, it’s rare that it happens.

  3. >>Plus, I sorta agree with his take on sociopolitical issues more often than I’d care to admit. Though I think I just did 🙂

Exactly! Thanks! The last time I checked, no one else talks about these troubling developments of income inequality in our society.

However…lots of eye candy (who knew Park Slope/Gowanus can collect such attractive women, they certainly don’t hang around the streets or at the Co-op.)

yep. im shocked too. there are TONS of hot chicks in park slope proper. if i was straight id be wanting to bang ALL of them in the butt

  5. bxgrl,

truthfully, I was inclined to believe in global warming, I can’t really say why. I can only attribute it to the immense background noise supporting it.

Then I read more about it. Now I’m not so inclined, I need to see the objective proof along the lines I stated above.
    hurricane strength
    coastal altimitry data
accurate sea level rise data (not doctored)

until then, I’m still with these guys:

More than 31,000 scientists across the U.S. – including more than 9,000 Ph.D.s in fields such as atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and dozens of other specialties – have signed a petition rejecting “global warming,” the assumption that the human production of greenhouse gases is damaging Earth’s climate

  6. “Why’s everybody always picking on meeee?”

stevie, I think people are inclined to like your Dr. Jekyll personality. Mr. Hyde, not so much. Why don’t you send Mr. Hyde home, and bring back Dr. Jekyll whom we hung with over Thanksgiving. Just sayin’.

  7. Blowfish, Kens is right – I am in the slope, and do wonder into OT sometimes. She is a big girl, cruising, not walking yet, but talks A LOT – takes after her parents 🙂 I am in South Slope, so PS 39 is going to be it for us.

Noki, once I was first – it also made my day! So enjoy!

    suck on this, 11217!
