  1. That’s a more nuanced position, Legion. My understanding, though, is that while there have been all kinds of climate swings in the earth’s history, there’s not much precedent for the kind of change we are seeing now taking place over the course of decades and centuries, as opposed to millenia and more. The effect we are seeing now is pretty consistent with the effect you would expect given our alterations to the planet and atmosphere and somewhat unprecedented for pre-combustion times. It’s a circumstantial case for now, but a pretty overwhelming one.

  2. EU bankers’ bonus tax plan gains momentum in Brussels
Brown was welcomed at the summit by Swedish PM Fredrik Reinfeldt
Momentum is building for a tax on bankers’ bonuses as European leaders gather for an EU summit in Brussels.

  3. >>Good work, etson!!!!!!!!!!!! But why would a homeless person have a Bloomberg terminal!!!!!!!!

You never heard of Chris Gardner? The movie starring Will Smith: “In pursuit of happyness” is based on Chris Gardner’s life. He was homeless until he rose to become one of the highest grossing stock brokers at his brokerage firm. And he did not need a bailout to accomplish that. People, that is the american dream, one that does not need to steal from tax payers.

Chris Gardner is my personal hero.
