Can anyone tell me a good walking route or bus route to see the Dyker Heights X-mas lights? And are they up yet? Anyone wanna join me for an oooh and ahhh session?
Technically “Hoarders” is a real estate show and deserves its own OT on Brownstoner. The before and after pictures are amazing. Thanks to Rob I have become addicted. I can’t stop watching it.
On last night’s program it was interesting listening to those garbage guys trying to calculate how many tons of soiled adult diapers they had already filled into the 40 yard dumpster. Where do they get these guys willing to go in and clean up without hazmat suits on?
Ahh, you folks need to get with Paperback Swap. Arkady introduced me to it and I’m now convinced it’s the best thing since sliced bread! Paperbackswap.com
Also can do it with cds and dvds

Last time I had “lunch” with you at Corner Burger, Snappy, I didn’t get home until 2am! Have to take a raincheck today!
But you (and I) can afford to buy these books and that makes you (and I) “well-off” by many standards.

Oh, I don’t buy books. But I buy books all day. You follow?

I dunno – I’ve stayed in some pretty small hotel rooms in NY (eg W and most of the Morgan’s hotels)
Shucks…I was gonna try to con you into having lunch with me at Corner Burger.
