speaking of xmas lights. did anyone see the big xmas tree in rockefeller center? they are using energy efficient lights this year and they SUCK. it’s not even bright at all. SO lame. (and i didnt see it in person but they were talking about how lame it was on the morning news this morning)
There are certain disadvantages to sharing a room with siblings.
I can recall my older sister going nuts on me for leafing through her journal and her paperbacks when she was out.
She got back at me by inviting all her friends over to chat, while I was having an afternoon nap in my underroos.
back then it was a boy’s nightmare…
today it’s a guy’s dream, 😉
Has anyone read a book that came out 6 to 8 months ago? It’s kind of a fantasy about someone named Spivak. I want to get it for a friend but can’t find the title.
thx
Yes Kens, agree. More generic. But it’s still a lot of lights on one house and it seems like 80% of the houses have lots of lights. It’s still festive and I luv luv Xmas decorations.
There was one particular house on 85th Street btwn 11th & 12th aves that was very elegantly (if you can use that word in Dyker Heights) done. White and red lights and a beautiful lighted garland around the front door….very classy.

You can all come over to my house and see the lights around my front door AND get drunk.

Are people paying for Christmas decorations with TARP money???

In Dyker Heights, it’s a different industry funding all together. Also taxpayer money but used via different extortion tactics.
I just love sparkly things. I think even the most basic of lit houses will tickle me 🙂
