Bakery/Cafe Alert:
I was in the ‘ghetto’ this weekend and stumbled upon a bakery called Lily and Fig on 727 Franklin Ave. And there’s no way for me to pass up a sweet treat.
The chocolate chip cookies ($1/ea., 3″ in diameter) are greeeeat. And my 5 year old niece scarfed down a brownie ($1.50), leaving me only crumbs to taste but it was sooooo good.
I wish I had gotten a cupcake ($1.75?) for later to try.
It’s a very cute place and they have seating and the prices are reasonable compared to other bakeries of this quality.
