oh wait, they are… both latch onto music genres that are popular..
oh wait… ummmm… madonna latches onto them YEARS after they are no longer relevant and claims them their own… CHER does it because she likes to experience the genres and sing that way. i love cher, every 10 years since the 60s she’s sang differently. 60s pop/soul, 70s, 80s metal lite, 90s rock, 00’s techno.. she never claimed to start the trend, she just wanted to hear herself and let her fans hear her.
madonna on the other hand is a narcissistic person who claims to START music trends :-/ she is always like 3-5 years behind the times, but because she has a huuuuge fanbase she sells lots of music. she’s a phony.
in the year 3597 if i were to do an archealogical dig for giant mummified phonies, i’d bring back Madonna.

Kennewick man was proved to be of Asian origin. His bones were found somewhere out wast and I think he was dated to >10,000 years old.
