THL…I know what that’s like. We lost our best buddy about 2 years ago. He was only 11 actually. The other one, a burmese, was truly devastated and cried for him almost daily for two more years before he died at 19.
Love those names Montrose. This one is a real pip. She knows she’s not supposed to go on the keyboard so she’ll sort of sit close by looking away like she’s not paying attention and then whammy she pounces both paws smacking at the screen while standing up on her hind legs doing the weird sideways jumping thing.
We have them because we can’t imagine not having them.
On a sober note My house is on “watch” right now. Our Big Ol’ Boy J-Kun is really ill. He’s 17 and *it’s* going to happen within the next few days. He was fine, freakishly fine given his age and then 4 days ago, wham, it struck him like a ton of bricks. I can’t say enough about him except to say he’s my best buddy.
For anyone who cares to take a peek at the big guy in better times he’s J-Kun the big solid tabby (no bib):
If my neighbors cat is indicative of cats in general, she lets us know what WE can do for her. ‘Pet me now’. ‘Let me in/out now’. ‘You’re in my spot!. etc…
Why are cats so fascinated with sitting on keyboards and newspapers? I wonder if its a jealousy thing. My fat little tomcat covers my whole skinny apple keyboard at home.
More infuriating are the people who walk up or down the left side of stairs when there’s a railing between them. This is not F^&*&%ing Europe, as if any of them have ever been there.
THL
am sorry to hear about your kitty
they are gorgeous!!!! where did you find such a bunch?

THL, I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure he’s had a happy purring time living with you. A good innings.
