Gee, cobble, you really lucked out. Of course you actually qualify as crazier cat lady- I mean why would you cater to a cat you don’t even own?
etson- cats actually smell slightly sweet- at least mine do. Sometimes when I am holding them, their fur is very slightly flowery. And I have one cat who regularly goes into the bathroom and scratches all the boxes to make sure everything is covered- even when she hasn’t been to the bathroom. I’m thinking a little black and white outfit for her.
Yeah, I understand he is using the litter box properly now. When he first came & was nervous he did it in the corner of the living room a couple of times.
etson, Dave’s spot on. The cats themselves have no icky smell like you associate with wet dog. Maintenance of the litter box is key. Regular emptying/changing and you’re good to go. Everyone and a while you get a cat that doesn’t “cover up” after themselves but it’s really rare. My old guy doesn’t but one of the girls will always walk by make a face and go and handle his dirty business for him by burying it.

And we do cater to her! She lets us know when she wants in or out, and when we need to be petting her!

Precisely, best of both possible worlds!

Oh for real? Good arrangement. They pay for any vet bills and you get to enjoy his company.

As i stated Saturday morning in friday’s OT, “It’s not the cats that make the ladies crazy. They were most likely that before.”
“Who DOES own that cat?”
My neighbor! The kitty is here right now!
Cobble, one cat does not a CCL make but we can always make an exception for you.
Who DOES own that cat? It’s always at your house.
