Snappy, I always start my spuds out in the nuker and then put them in the oven just to crisp up the skin. I can’t wait all day for those damn things to cook.
Snappy – Zap the potato for 4 minutes & then poke it w/ a fork before you put it in the oven. Works perfectly. The oven dries it out a bit so the skin isn’t soggy.
THL, I’m having a potato crisis. I can’t seem to bake a potato to save my soul. They refuse to cook all the way through no matter how long I leave it in the oven, stab it with knives and forks. Sigh. And I hate gravy!
