okay all this sesame street bombardment is ridiculous. i watched it as a kid and all i can say is OMG what they do to sesame street? it’s so lame whitebread now! barf.

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) — Hedge fund assets may top the
previous $2 trillion high by the end of next year as double-digit average returns lure investors, said Barry Bausano, Deutsche Bank AG’s global co-head of prime finance.
OK — so I wanted to share something that reminds me regularly that I am “not from around here”
(1) I don’t understand putting a cup of coffee in a bag.
(2) I never use a straw, but I’m given one for every cold beverage I buy — that’s not a bottle of water.
These strike me as strange practices. Though it’s sort of nice to have these little quaint things to remind you about the little differences. 🙂

Rob – Your perceptions may have changed since you first saw Sesame St. & you now have a more sophisticated (or jaundiced) outlook on it.
