Hubby used to buy all his hats from JJ, but I recently discovered Worth & Worth on 57th Street and bought him another straw hat…gorgeous stuff and believe it or not less expensive than JJ, and they’ll customize for your big fat head 🙂
DIBS, I don’t know, I’ve never been there. I’m not a bar person. If I don’t go with a bunch of friends, I don’t go, and if I need a drink, I usually drink at home, which is much cheaper. (Images of MM, swilling at home). From what friends have told me, it’s more gay than lesbian, per se, although they may have special girls only nights. If you ever want to give it a try, let me know. My male gay friends have dragged me into most of the good gays bars in Manhattan. They are much more fun than straight bars.
Never liked wing tips. At my place of work, it’s the contemporary “business casual” style: slacks, sport jackets, etc. I’m ok with that, though I would prefer that ties be worn.
With my moustache, top coat and fedora, I look like an extra from “The Godfather”. Folks give me alot of space when I pass them on the sidewalk!
And wing tips, benson? I think I kind of stick out a bit on the A train riding in from Bed Stuy!!!! We’re pretty old school here at the Mutant Hedge Fund, suits and ties, wingtips, etc.
‘I wear a 1930’s style top coat and a fedora.’
Benson, stop it!! I’m liking you more and more.
I bet you look very dignifed….prrrrrrr.

Miss Chiff, my dear, you’re getting your Bloomberg monitors confused.
If there were 4 guys on the table it’d be eight ball!!!
The Eight Balls Lounge was the gay bar in Albany back in the 70s and 80s and it was called that because 4 guys owned it.
You’re on the right track though, Snappy.

A pool table, eh? Something tells me ‘eight-ball’ was not the game being played!
ROFLMMFAO BRG! Oh, you straight girls always find a way to get me into trouble! Haven’t you heard, once you go Snappy you’ll always be happy! lol
