I remember going to a film festival years ago and checking out this college-age woman dressed in hippie attire. I caught myself thinking, “This year’s hippies are coming along nicely.” It’s like seeing a 5 year old kid wearing a Ramones t-shirt.
dave ive heard the term mouth breathers before. but i thought mouth breathers was a derogatory term for native born outer borough new yorkers? i dont think this is the case really.
I notice that a little Rob, now that you mention it. Mostly I notice how funky kids’ clothes have gotten. And also, it’s 9 o’clock – don’t those well-dressed parents have to get to the office already??

I was in Chelsea when it happened. You should know where that is!! Cuttoff completely TO the rest of civilization. Every Gay knows that!!
I happened to see some of Real World: Brooklyn last night. Oh man, the style of clothes they were all wearing is so absurd. It was like knock-offs of knock-offs of a style.
i have a legitimate concern about the chirrun of park slope.. ive noticed, especially since it’s cold out i think? maybe in the summer i didnt notice as much cuz it was so hot? i dont know. but walking to the train every day seeing kids being escorted by their parents… they ALL always have their (the kids) tongues hanging out. it’s the weirdest phenonemon i have EVER witnessed. if you live in the area please see if you notice this too. it’s not like they are sticking their tongues at me or anything, it’s just their tongues sorta hang out of the side of their mouths. creepy town fer sure! i’d take pictures, but i think that would be slightly weird. so im asking others to take notice and see what im talking about.

Sorry Rob, but I’ve never witnessed this particular phenomenon.
