It’s almost impossible for anyone that believes that an unborn child is a life (or if you prefer, that life has begun by that point) to believe that anyone is entitled to an abortion. As an exercise, start from the assumption that it is, work through the implications, and see if you can support abortion. From their standpoint, it’s not just a question of personal preference.
If you don’t believe that life has begun before the point of aborton, there is likewise no good reason to oppose it.
That is what I meant before. There really can’t be much of a debate when the underlying beliefs are just opposites.
