  1. If he’s honestly spending that much per day on cat food then he is seriously over feeding the little furballs. I buy a premium brand of cat food and it costs me $20 to feed two cats for about 1 and a half month’s worth of food.

  2. Jester, the ASPCA has mobile vans that go to different lower income neighborhoods on Saturday’s for spay/neutering for cats and dogs. Their schedule is on their website. If one is on public assistance, the fee is $25 per pet. It’s $75 if you are not. Considering my vet charges at least $75 for me to sit in their office, this is a great deal. The downside is you have to get up at dawn on Saturday to be in line, outside, by at least 6:15-6:30. They say 7, but if you aren’t in the line and have one of the first 24 pet spots, you won’t get in. They go by cages, not people, and many people bring two pets.

You end up in line for a couple of hours, leave the pet, and come back at 4 to pick them up. It’s a great service.

  3. Sanppy, I know. I witnessed him spend #13 for cans of cat food, and I asked if he spent that much every day. Affirmative was his answer.

CG_ups, check. I’ll see him today and get on his case.

  4. Muffin’s Pet Connection will let him list the kitties as for adoption on their website while they live with him. Folks to visit that website or Petfinder.org will be able to see the kitties and hopefully fall in love and come take one or two.

  5. “Jester, even on the best food available, it does not cost 13 bucks a day to feed cats…wtf is he doing?”

    Feeding them fancy meatballs.

CG, that reminds me of the funny scene from Airplane. I have a feeling I would forget to turn it off while doing my business in the Little Ranglers’ Room.
