ditto….our cat got fat on that UTI diet…he no longer has the UTI problem but is now on the RD (Reduced Diet) food. It doesn’t seem to do any good but I can’t inagine what he’d look like without it. The other tabby is fine on the RD food
My fat boy cat needs some special SD diet due to past history of bladder problems. The vet has me over a barrel. Its about 30 bucks a bag. Not to metnion the 1000 buck emergency surgery he had.

My cat food costs about $15 a week. It’s a lot cheaper if you can buy it by the case at a pet shop – the new one on 6th Av. across from St. Augustine’s church has best prices I’ve found for high-end stuff.

Ditto – If you have to get to the point of infusing him I have a great resource – less than a third what vets ask even including shipping.
