  1. Advair made me absolutely loony (yes, I can be loonier!). I felt like I was going crazy and had the shakes like a crackhead. Very bad stuff. Even after I stopped taking it, it took my body 3 days to calm down again. That was like smoking a really really bad and powerful bag of weed.

  2. It isn’t all that new – I think the show was in ’97. Usually it’s recommended for really severe breathing difficulties – if taking a deep breath is like inhaling through one of those little, plastic cocktail straws.

  3. rob- tell your doctor immediately! You could be having a bad side effect. Most drugs can do that- it depends on your matablolism and physical condition.

  4. Rob, after years of smoking you may in fact have asthma. I didn’t always have it. It came upon me from being a total jackass and continuing to smoke. But I will tell you that Advair is a nasty med. I refuse to take that anymore. I do a regular inhaler or nebulizer for emergencies and Flovent for daily use to keep the ole breathing bags in check.

  5. Yes, but Rob, bad bronchitis can bring on an asthmatic reaction. Depending on the drug he gave you [Advair?] is can take some time to work. Unless he gave you a bronchiodilator which gives you pretty instant relief if your breathing is tight.
