Glad you had a chuckle CG-
In truth, Dinkins was/is a very refined man. A true gentleman. Unfortunately he was the wrong man at the wrong time and the socio-economic fabric of the city began/continued to unravel. His term was a disaster for much of NYC and he is widely regarded/ remembered as an ineffective sub par mayor. I fear that Bill Thompson will bring forth much of Dinkins failed ideology. In contrast, Mayor Bloomberg is beholden to no man, and to no group. The choice needs to be made, and to me, Bloomberg is the only reasonable option.
benson, I take it you see I made the same complaint. However you’re only half right… we need more engineers and fewer conservatives. lol.

guess I’m a sell-out according to that. I switched majors in jr yr – from Electrical to Acctg. I chose the path of least resistance – well I at least apply that electrical concept in the decision
It was just some hippie song from my college years that I listen to all the time on my iPod, sorry to cause such PLUSA chaos. Lost in all this is how I was just sticking up for a friend. I could have put more thought into it but I don’t obsess over each post, I just copy and paste. I expect people to deal with it or assume you missed something if you don’t get it.

it was NOT a hippie song at all jester. it had nothing to do with being a tree hugger. it was about death and dying!

I notice Mr. B’s survey didn’t have sheep-herding either. Things have really gone downhill in NY since the British left.

Yes, dirty definitely. An OT cocktail should be dirty with a dash of bitters and a twist of lemon for tart-ness.
Boy am I glad we don’t have to turn the page after 200 over here.
Panties with a Twist sounds very gay to me. no homo
