I hear you, and sometimes I do roll my eyes (ears?) at the tone deafness of some on the liberal side. (I will refrain here from saying what I think about some on the other side, but you can guess.) But there is a bunch of gray area in that thread. For example, propjoe wrote some of the most overtly anti-Italian garbage. I would hardly assume he is a liberal democrat. Who knows what he is? Also, is there room to mock architecture on a real estate blog without engaging in offensive cultural stereotyping? It can descend into cultural condescension really fast but I am not sure where the line is absent truly bigoted statements. Not to mention all the cracks about stroller moms and c-f everytime the Slope comes up. Sometimes Mr. B was accused of race/class warfare for postings about crime in Clinton Hill. Sometimes for not posting. So there is a lot of stereotyping and sensitivity to go around.
Nonetheless, I am glad you keep posting about the good things to be found in the outer parts of southern Brooklyn.
I just satisfied a craving for Ramen Noodles and Ice Cream.
“Maybe. Most likely on the late side.”
Good deal, Slope. I’ll still be there on the late side, I’m sure.
benson,

Remember when people were wondering if Tyra would become the next Oprah? I guess that conversation is dead!
“tho most new music these days could aptly be described as mucus.”
Good one, Rob!
No, not technically. She just plays one on TV.
She wears so much makeup she just looks like she’s mastered the tuck game.
ROb, stay home tomorrow. Stay on the sofa and cuddle with your dog. Do not go back until you start to feel better.
Is Tyra a tranny???
Don’t be jealous!
