It’s been over 24 hours and Obama has STILL not turned the country around. I can’t believe I voted for this guys.
By the way, DIBS, I’m surprised you haven’t yet commented on Rahm Emanuel. He seems like someone right up your alley (as it were, so to speak, if you will and all those other meaningless three-word expressions). http://men.style.com/images/gq/features/010107/GQfeature4v.jpg
I’m not sure if you know this but (make sure you’re sitting down)…After 12 years of renting in Bklyn (deep breathe) I purchased in Jersey City (cue the slasher music)! It’s horrifying I know, sit and take a moment to recover.
BRG…I don’t even feel comfortable commenting about something like C or BAC right now. My question is: Why haven’t any insiders stepped up to buy the stock or any “strategic” buyers come along??
BRG, do you already have all your money legally allowed in tax-free retirement accounts in balanced index funds? Then sure, go ahead and buy all the Citi stock you want.
Citibank stock is at $3+ a share.
Hubby thinks I should buy an obscene amount of shares (he told me yesterday when it was at $2+)
What do you all think?
Keep the technical jargons to a minimum, I don’t understand economic / investing fancy talk.
Tell it to me straight.

Mopar I’m disqualified based on a technicality.

I’d like to thank the SOTD Awards Panel and everyone else who made this momentous occasion possible.
BRG – I’d read Krugman’s column on “Gothamgroup” before sinking any money into Citi.
All this talk of bacon is making me hungry. I’m going to lunch.

Hoboken, are you gunning for the Snark of the Day award now?
