bxgrl….I have not been awarded a SOTD yet. You, so far, are the sole recipient. Yet, it’s my belief that the SOTD will eventually go down hill due to the lessening of the standards and high hurdles currently in effect and in fact, BRG will eventually wind up with 2 of them.

Shoddy analysis, mopar. If the global market for Roguefort is now smaller then the prices they can achieve will be lowered. Profitability will fall and roguefort workers will lose jobs. The french government will come along and nationalize them and the shares will be worthless. it will reverberate down the chain so that the farmes will no longer be able to sell milk.
You should be long Danish Blue and Maytag Blue for despite being an inferior product, they will fill the void in the U.S. market.
And then there’s Gorgonzola, which will definitely have a sympathy move up.
