Interesting, THL. I was wondering why it came down. I was thinking the best in that What may have decided that it was just too over the top but most likely it was flagged and he had to take it down
Cobble- If you’re still frying up bacon I’d like a greasy bacon and fried tomato on white bread sandwich please. I’m feeling particularly English today.
Dave-
“I noticed the What took down all his Faggot posts. Perhaps he took his meds. :(”
Simply put, you can’t do that kinda stuff on Blogger. If someone flags his blog as having hate speech he’s done for (on Blogger at least). Check the section on hate speech.
That’s nice to hear, chicken. Refreshing even. Do you have the dates for your October trip yet? Any chance you’ll make it back for Union Hall on the 15th?
I think the jury is still out regarding wind power. At this point in time, it needs subsidies to compete. I have less of a problem with justifying the susbsidies for a limited amount of time. It could be considered seed money until a true industry is created (including a US-based supply chain). As my rant above, shows, however, I have a BIG problem with leeches who show NO concern for the cost of this power, and just look at it as another pot of gold.
I picked up on his “cheap suit” because it really did stick out amidst the crowd. I’m telling you, this was one fashionably-dressed crowd!!!
I almost got the feeling that the Texan laid it on think with the drawl just to stick it to them.
Denton, totally agree about the attitude in Texas towards manufacturing and work in general. Recently The Economist predicted that Texas would take over California’s former position as the most dynamic state in the country from an economic POV.
I brought some of my tomatoes to work for lunch today. Got some leftover buffala mozzarella too. Mmmmmmmm
Went to Sraghina last night. They now have beer and wine. The wine selections are quite reasonable.
I had a bass on soft polenta and the polenta was incredible. Also had spaghetti with calamari & squid ink…very tasty dish.

THL, that sounds even better than plain bacon. Use Dave’s fresh tomatoes and throw on some lettuce and I’m set for lunch today.
Morning All.

DIBS comment on the insurance thread ended with:
“Touch wood, I’ve never had a claim”
More like:
“I touch wood, I’ve never had a clam”
“Y’all come back now, heahhh?”
Ooooh, now you gone and done it!!!
NOTE: It’s a No-No on this blog to write something in an accent.
Denton, go into the Grocery thread and type something out in a Chinese accent.
I DARE YOU!
Re-writer and Denton;
