Rob – The vet should just renew your prescription but also ask what causes it that you might make a change in routine of some kind. (The inner “lid” is a nictitating membrane.)
Do any of you watch Iron Chef??? I was at a retaurant called Osteria (fantastic Italian food) in philly last night and sat next to Chef Michael Simon at the bar. He was a really nice, talkative guy. I thought he was Chef Simon when I sat down but wasn’t sure until I heard the laugh!!!
Osteria is the sister restaurant to Vetri and Chef Simon believes the pasta to be better than almost anywhere in Italy. Bon Appetit wrote about Vetri a few years ago and the article was titled “Possibly the best Italian Restaurant in America.
We went through this with the vet. Call the vet — you’ve got a good one now. Sometimes they don’t return calls until the end of the day, but be patient. Vet may still want to take a look, but I remember this cost you a lot less than you expected last time. You will benefit a lot over the long haul from having a good vet’s office get to know the dog and its medical history. You know that you’ve got a good vet with Maddon’s office. Sometimes it takes a recurrence or two for a vet to ID the root cause. You should stick with them. Much better for yuo and the dog than switching at this point.
These guys are excellent with eye infections and the like. Our big grey guy came into his office as a kitten and his eye was so bad no one thought he still had one behind the infection. Now you can’t tell he ever had a problem. Bite the bullet and call the vet.
I’m more interested in epicanthal folds.
Biffers – One bivalve checking in. Snappy had flu.
“nictitating membrane”
WOW!! Arkady, you’re amazing!
And no sooner is that said…

Looks like the weekend was not kind to fishermen?
Appears there is a shortage of clams today.

My cousin told me yesterday that Vick lives in his building in Philly (Dave, he lives in Penns Landing).
