wow, that fence thread is nuts. i would say that the longer it goes on highlights that there are no winners in an argument with wingnuts. i mean was all that seriously over “spend-a”? lechecal, i admire your restraint. i think the wingnuts won’t be swayed by anything really so to continue the arguments gets a bit silly. am i a buzzkill for the onlookers that like to watch a good fight? probably. ah well. you want to see a fight, then hop in yourself.
Leveraged ETFs are not the same as vanilla ETFs.
CG-ups, I don’t disagree but you have higher transactional costs over an ETF. I do much the same tho.
But I still use ETFs to get into areas that the average retail investor can’t, like the short treasury ETFs dibs mentions above, and commodities.
