Ugh – am freaking out
I sorta started a new facet of my job here about 3 months ago and have been training with the person who has done it for years but she hates it and is always “sick” so now she just announces to is going on 1 month medical leave tomorrow and will be unreachable. So I will be left to do her job and I only know how to do 50% of it.
What kind of leverage do I have with my boss now that I have been expecting a raise and title change for sometime now and this happened?
PS – my boss has been wanting to get rid of the girl for some time now…

Antidope, why dont you just admit you miss Brickoven? It’s kind of boring to not have fav sparring partner around on the blog for this long.
I decided on Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself. It was really really good. It was about the importance of faith and family with a lot of humor injected into it. It was surprisingly deep and made me cry harder than I have in a long time. Cried so hard I went home with a massive headache.
