CG’d, that SVP won’t be hired in the industry for a long long time. which bank would want that bad PR assoc’d with hiring her – probably not even a mail room position
Petebklyn, since you scared off an attendee with your frightening tales of invading rats (kidding), I think it’s your duty to replace that person with yourself. Seriously, it would be nice to have you join us.
oh Dave…you think I have power to make something out of nothing? that is almost godlike. I will take as compliment.
Yet, you don’t live near the restaurant invasion territory and I am envious of you for that. Rats have become major problem and anyplace with outdoor patio has them guaranteed.
But if big group shows up I doubt they will appear and run around your feet. more apt to very late when few if any people around. They are more scared of us they we of them.
And they should be.
So please come.
I know most places have had rats, etc. For me, I go by the most recent inspection report. If that report is clean enough, I’m able to go there. But it also depends for me on how recent that report is. Say for instance a place has a clean report but the last inspection was way back in November of last year. No dice. I wait for a new one to come up and then I’m game again. Silly, I know, but I’ve got issues!!!
Snappy, you would love dining in chapel hill, raleigh, durham area in N. Carolina. all restaurants post their cleanliness rating from the gov inspections. anything less than 90 (out of 100) is given the weird eye by customers. the lowest I recall encountering down there was 88 and it look pretty clean in bathroom and kitchen

“wasder, others have been saying the same thing for a few months now.” Sure but coming from Bernanke doesn’t that carry a little more weight?
THL–thanks for the tiny URL info.
Hope to bring my non-alcohol consuming ass out to the Thursday evening shindig. A rat taco and an O’Doul’s sounds perfect!
I see Wells Fargo fired the exec who moved into one of the bank’s foreclosed houses in the Malibu Colony. Can you say “chutzpah”?!

Thanks for killing my lunch, DH. 🙁
