Here is a daily challenge to Arkady, bxgrl, etc.:
Assume for the day that conservatives are capable of thinking for themselves and vote based on ideas that they have actually considered in a rational way. Rather than engaging in ad hominem attacks on conservative voters and politicians, explain why you think your ideas will make the world a better place than their ideas.
I make the same assumption about liberals every day. It’s easy once you get the hang of it.
Seriously Benson? Shakespeare didn’t know ish about Brooklyn real estate – especially how dreamy Park Slope is. If he did, he would have Polonius telling his son to rob and steal to get a piece of the Brooklyn pie.
“Regardless, she was a candidate for VP of the United States.”
So was Admiral Stockdale.

If your writing is coherent and you are otherwise not, thank a ghostwriter.
Sorry, a bit punchy this morning. But does anyone think even the brainiest pols write their own op-eds? Palin has lots of conservative pundit friends and supporters and I am sure she got help. That is not a knock on her. Most pols do it this way, although if you are in office and have a staff, it is usually a staff person, not an outsider, who does the drafting. But the op-ed’s coherence is not proof of Palin’s.
Would you men really like to know what upsets us about Sarah Palin? That men picked tits and ass over brains, education, and accomplishments. A woman who lived so close to Russia she can see it- and that was all she knew about it? Are you kidding me? Her nomination was a slap in the face to every Republican woman who accomplished anything. Not to mention the rest of us. Picking Sarah Palin was an insult. But obviously it was like giving a piece of meat to a wolf.

“And you never answered the question. If your daughter came to you and asked for help, would you turn her down? Answer that.”
Sorry Bxgrl, but I am not inclined to take instructions from OP’s.

I would hardly hold up Polonius as an example of anything. Son- dead. Daughter- drowned. A sleazy spy and underachiever.

Cobble, too late for explanations – you’re in the dog house. no one rides bus over my parents and expect to get away unscathed
yeah, Peggy Noonan certainly was no fan.
