giving up seat to pregnant ladies can be awkward. a few weeks ago, I gave up seat to a lady that I thought was a few months pregnant. She took the seat and told me “BTW, I’m not pregnant” upon which I responded “consider my seat offer as peace offering for the mistake”. We both had a chuckle and that was that. But I did think thru what would’ve happened if that was with a lady who took major offense to it
I’m NO fan of Palin but to judge her by her panties? That’s evil.
Snappy, thanks for the sleeping beauties. I love the exposed belly sleepers. Lou is the only one of my cats that like to sleep on her back paws stretched to the heavens. It’s all I can do not to rub the fuzzy black and white belly.

I’ve got a favorite bus driver. When the bus is full and a preganant woman, elderly person or a woman carrying a small child gets on and no one gives up their seat, he pulls the bus over, turns off the engine and announces that until that woman/elderly person is seated, the bus will go nowhere and if no one gets up he will take the bus out of service and kick everyone off except for the elderly/disabled/pregnant person. He rocks my world!

THL- I don’t know. Several times I’ve been on the train and a teenager asked me if I would like his seat. Young, African American kids.
