  1. After my ankle surgery I was shocked by how few people were willing to give up a seat to me with a air cast and cane.

9 times out of 10 it was an relatively older person 40+.

If I was on that train with my mom and didn’t jump up immediately for someone in need she’s have whacked me so hard and made me stand.

Have we completely stopped teaching kids manners?

    Sad

  2. “When they had the VP debate last fall, one of the columnists from the Village Voice pulled off a journalistic coup. He noticed that Sarah’s panty lines were those of the old style “mom” panties. He seriously cited this as proof that she was out-of-step with mainstream America.”

This from the guy who is asking about woman and their pubic hair. Not much difference.

  3. I knew a woman years ago who was tiny. When she got pregnant she became so huge people literally left the subway car because they thought she was about to give birth on the train. She told me at least 2-3 people jumped up to give her seats wherever she went. She was HUGE at 7 months and less than 5 feet tall.

  5. On the B63 bus, they have added MTA sponsored signs in the ad spaces saying that one should give the front seats to elderly, disabled, etc. One problem? The signs are always in the very back of the bus. Ninnies.
