Open Thread

I’m a super modern, clean lines and sharp angles kinda girl. Rounded archways and adobe fireplaces make me wanna gag! It took me 8 months to find a couch simply because I refused to buy something with rounded arms. There’s something about arcs and circles that just rub me the wrong way. I have a really nice print of a painting that features multi-colored glass but I’ve not hung it yet (been sitting in the frame on the floor for about 3 years) because the glass featured is circular. Argh! I know, I know, I’m a nut 🙂

I loved Portland when I was there. The downer is the weather, though. For us hair-impaired, it’s a pit.

snaps- Househunters makes me cringe no matter where they are. But if you got an authentic adobe house or have seen some of the great architecture there, its quite beautiful. Not my style but some of the places I’ve seen in the mags I could definitely get used to.

Ya know, when I watch House Hunters when they go to NM, I always cringe at the architecture. I think I’d be depressed as all hell out there having to look at that stuff. Not my style 🙁

Bxgirl, Pluto may be the spot! I was pissed when it was downgraded from a planet. Nothing makes you feel older than to know that whatever you learned in science class as a youngin’ is no longer in effect!
