Sounds like a good call, jackal. Teh alternative seems to be that you join us and simply never return home. I see no options for you in between under your present circumstances. Welcome to the South Slope.
Biff, I will probably get there around 6:30 or 7. I’m in perpetual casual Friday mode, so I can’t advise about the monkey suit. Also, on my one visit to Montreal (I think I was about 12), I ordered a burger and fries somewhere and the whole thing came smothered in gravy. They poured the gravy right over the top of the bun and everything on the plate was swimming in it. I take it that’s not poutine. Ever since then, SNL’s Greek diner “Chee’ burger” routine had special resonance for me (“no gravy on fries!”).
