  1. Thanks CarrollGardened – I completely missed that. Funny thing is that the more expensive of the two houses is on the hillside opposite the family farm – ie we are their view. They are part of our view too, but our view stretches much further across VT, NH and MA (they just look at us all day, poor saps). I always assume the people who live on that hillside think we are a bunch of crazy rednecks because whenever my brothers and I get together we buy a ton of ammo, take out a bunch of guns, and shoot at stuff (last time we took out a 30-06, AR-15, a 38 special, a .40 semi-auto, a 12 ga, and some other stuff). The farm is nestled in a semi-circular mountain/hill that I think concentrates the sound and sends it right back to that house. No wonder they are selling.

  2. How many Republicans does it take to change a light bulb.

    1. One to deny that the light bulb needs to be changed

    2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed.

    3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb.

    4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for darkness.

    5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid/cost-plus contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb.

    6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a stepladder under the
    banner: “Light Bulb Change Accomplished.”
