Thanks CarrollGardened – I completely missed that. Funny thing is that the more expensive of the two houses is on the hillside opposite the family farm – ie we are their view. They are part of our view too, but our view stretches much further across VT, NH and MA (they just look at us all day, poor saps). I always assume the people who live on that hillside think we are a bunch of crazy rednecks because whenever my brothers and I get together we buy a ton of ammo, take out a bunch of guns, and shoot at stuff (last time we took out a 30-06, AR-15, a 38 special, a .40 semi-auto, a 12 ga, and some other stuff). The farm is nestled in a semi-circular mountain/hill that I think concentrates the sound and sends it right back to that house. No wonder they are selling.
