IMHO, there are virtually NO decent places to eat and/or drink in BH (though I do like JtheH and Noodle Pudding). I almost always go elsewhere. Maybe we should open a bar in the nabe.

I hadn’t even been to Jack the Horse until Jessi suggested it after I walked with her and CGar over the bridge last week. It’s very nice and relatively quiet. I love that it’s a lone bar/restaurant in a nice residential area. I guess I do all of my partying outside of BH, notwithstanding Floyds. Speaking of which, I wandered there after my movie last night for a nightcap and I believe it was a gay night of sorts. The sign out front said “Last Monday”. I guess they have a gay night on the last Monday of each month? It was like a sausage fest to the nth degree. I wasn’t sure what was going on.
Halliburton never made a huge amount of money on the military support contracts in Iraq. Very low margin compared to their main oilfield business, and now has been spun off into a separate company.
