I’ve seen that series Snappy. I’m also aware of the Hearst connection, and that cocaine was once legal and widely available in consumer products in this country.

Have you ever seen that series…Illegal Drugs and How They Became Illegal? It’s very interesting.
If the government were serious about such things, cigarettes and alcohol would land your @ss in jail the same way crack and meth does. The fact that that doesn’t happen speaks volumes.
Marijuana is illegal simply for the reason that hemp competed very effectively on price with timber for paper production and William randolph Hearst owned most of the US timberland back then and backed the movement against marijuana.
A very run on sentence but now you know the history.

Alcohol is easily one of the most dangerous drugs available. It’s literally toxic. It kills millions of people each year. And it’s legal.
