yea, i’ve eaten at Northeast Kingdom several times. i guess i would describe it as spruced-up American food. they have a bit of everything and try to make it “fancy.” i’ve enjoyed it every time i’ve been there.
eek, the Aberdeen stop is waaaay out there. i was off the dekalb stop. i just moved FROM bushwick (in other words, got the hell out of there).
Denton if you are talking about Macklowes new building on Madison the two tenants signed are trying to get out f there contracts so it might be empty when it opens
stringer b – yes, that is the restaurant. looked like it could be good. you have been? what kind of food is it?
but i totally agree that it is not the most attractive neighborhood. i used to work further out in a community health center off of the aberdeen stop. there was really nothing around there. barely any place to eat or buy food or anything practical. mostly 99 cent stores and the occasional deli with mostly junk food. i had a very desolate/isolated feeling working out there and definitely a sense of hopelessness that i thought was not only from the work i was doing, but also from the actual community of ppl that lived there. do you plan to stay there for a while?
more4less: yes, 2nd time around. i lived at rogers and bergen for a year, then went to bushwick for a year, now back in crown heights. and glad to be back.
stringer, you’re either next to or directly across the street
“Stringer, I live in Clinton Hill but own an aptmt near you on Dean (btwn Brooklyn & New York Ave)”
ha, right near me. i’m on the corner of brooklyn and dean.

Rob, I like Jersey City alot. It’s among my top choices to buy a house. I would agree in that I see it as a 6th borough too
