Why do Asian cultures eat dogs/Cats?
just curious

actually, m4l, I ate them not in Hong Kong but in a small village restaurant between Hoiping and Toisan in Guangdong province. As you probably know, they’re a local specialty.

Cat, however, is something I have never seen on any menu in China.

I would never live with an animal that I couldn’t eat.

Morning- sorry, late start to the day. Never heard from the bedbug lady but I emailed the friend who had asked me to help her out and this morning she cc’d me on an email she sent to the woman blasting her for blowing me off and being so inconsiderate. Still haven’t heard and if she does call, I’m not taking them. She’ll have to board them if its so imperative- which I kinda think it must not be or she would have called.

rob- dogs are trained to go outside. Your dog is older so you never had to train him not to go in the house but I know several people who very stupidly never trained their dogs and guess what. The dogs pissed and pooped all over the house. Couldn’t even train them to use a litter box- which cats will do instinctively. And “soggy smell” is very well known. Most breeds have a very strong body odor- much worse when wet. And it gets all over you. Cats don’t.
