benson, Telco is a big boyz game now. facility based service providers need tons of $$$ to scale enough to make tons of $$$. that why it’s interesting to see the software-based providers in the SMB space crank out their svcs. Agnostic IP phones with voice & video has been around for a while already in the software-based space but sounds like a mega improvement in the facility-based space. Not much creativity is needed by providers when all buy off the shelf gear from the cisco, alcatel,.. of the world.

It’s all gone. There is no creativity left. Everything has been reduced to a commodity, and you get beat up on price.
