  1. “Her top question/comment will be: “I want grandkids AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. How do you feel about that????”.”

I just hope none of these potential suitors end up suing you in the event they fall and hurt themselves while running out of your home after hearing that question.

  2. “How do you feel about possibly being Kensingtonian’s or Dirty Hipster’s father-in-law.”

Sorry, she’s accounted for right now, but I’ll take applications for the “batter’s box”. Better yet, I’ll have my wife interview them. Her top question/comment will be: “I want grandkids AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. How do you feel about that????”.

  3. Arkady – agreed except perhaps the agent knows that the seller is willing to go lower on the price so she shows you said house even though it’s above your stated limit – right?

  4. “Hmmmm, benson, I wonder what she refers to you as???”

If it’s something typical, she probably refers to him as the old guy from whom she borrows the car keys and credit cards.
    🙂

  5. Gem – It’s been my experience that what I’ve missed most in an agent is the ability to hear: i.e. when I say what I want in a house & what my financial limits are, a good agent should only show me places that meet those criteria. I’ve never understood why, instead, I’m shown houses that have none of the attributes I stipulated – it’s a waste of my time & the agent’s. The relationship becomes adversarial.
