  1. don’t know the exact name but the highest ranked college in Canada is that one in Toronto that’s always highly ranked in Top Colleges internationally. Think it’s a science & business school. definitely much higher rank than McGill but McGill is consider ivy cause it’s considered canada’s version of Harvard

  2. Hey Rob,

Sorry to hear about your friends. I can empathize – I had similar experiences with friends and a horrific experience with a sibling and drugs. Like Kens, I’d be happy to share my experiences with you, but not on the OT. Are you going to Ellis on the 6th?

As for the economy, let’s just say I work for [Insert Name of Major TARP Recipient Here], and, though I haven’t noticed fewer people on the subway, barely a day goes by without one of my colleagues disappearing. And no one ever tells you; the only way you find out someone is gone is when your e-mail bounces back as “undeliverable” and their voicemail plays “You have reached a non-working number . . . ”

As for therapy, as bxgrl said, been there, done that, and there are pros and cons, though I’m not a big proponent of meds. Again, I’d be happy to discuss, but not on the OT.

  3. But is your HDL high??? My overall cholesterol is more than a teensy bit high but my HDL is so high that he said I practically have a negative risk for heart issues. He said it was either genetic or I was a long distance runner. I’ve never ran distance in my life.

  4. I thought Toronto and Queens were supposed to be as good as / better than McGill, but that may reflect the people I have met rather than the reality..

I am guessing Dartmouth (Darth-mouth, given the Death Star?)or Harvard for Biff.

  5. Based on an article I read about Harvard’s faltering/screwed up financial situation, I’m thinking it’s going to be getting a lot easier to get into Harvard if you’ve got the money to pay for it, and less so if you don’t. I could be wrong.
