Actually, Sammy’s Roumanian, which I’ve mentioned here before, makes a mean chopped liver, which they call the Jewish Caesar Salad (chopped liver mixed in a big bowl with fried onions, grated radish and tons of chicken fat).
KENS, Lake Minnewaska is terrific, done a fair amount of biking, swimming and cross country skiing there. My parents stayed at the mohonk House a couple of times, just brought their “spirits case”.
