Is anyone going to any bar Sunday for the games????

I actually went to Essence (cor of Atlantic & Troy)two weekends ago on Sunday but they didn’t open until 5:00. It was a pretty decent place with just a few older guys there. I suspect it gets a younger crowd Fridays and Saturdays though. There’s an area for a band to set up. Food was a cut above ordinary bar food as well.

I think you know where this place is MM. I think I mentioned it once before in asking anyone if they’ve ever been there.

Something dawned on me last evening, when I took a look at the threads. In case you didn’t see it, this “Benson” person on the scene, bursts into threads and tries to cut others a new one. But others hold their own, however.

It suddenly dawned on me who “Benson” is. Rather than give you my opinion, let’s take a look at some facts:

-clearly, ‘Benson’ has been carefully reading this site for a period of time.

-‘Benson’ is a fairly good writer, though there is a whiff of “sermonizing” in his posts that we’ve seen in another writer’s pieces…”What’ you ask? Although, ‘what’ posts I’m referencing are mostly incoherent gibberish, but I think that’s just ‘Benson’s’ way to foil us.

-A very significant person of the Brownstoner community is suddenly not around, with no explanation. ‘Benson’ disappeared for a day as did this person….hhhhmmmm…..’What’ is his name??

-I noticed that ‘Benson’ is becoming friendlier. Could it be to throw us, ‘What’ does this all mean?

So, who is ‘Benson’? You decide for yourself….

I think I may have written once that you were getting on my nerves, but I was having a difficult morning and I forget the context. However I am feeling in a very relaxed and positive mindset today, even though my securities remind me of the scene from titanic when decrapio is handcuffed to a raditor while the water is rising around him. Ah to be rescued by Kate Winslett, but I digress.
The thing is this, whether one invested with Bernie or not, we all seem to be sinking fast.
What happened to all the money we thought we had in 2007?
