  1. hahah thanks for the suggestions. yeah the branch was def. pourous and i did rub the excess off the branch because i wanted it lighter (i got a super dark stain to begin with). but with the table, it had a sheen on it originally that i sanded off but after applying the dark stain i never wipe it off. now it looks kinda goopy in places on top, but not terrible. ill try and wipe it off when i get home. any suggestions what to wipe it off with? i used a regular bath towel to wipe the excess off the branch. but i dont want to get fuzzies from the towels stuck in the goop on the table. but i guess i could always resand and start over. i only did the top of the table and not the legs so it looks stupid just based on that. hahaha. people like me should not be allowed to watch hgtv lol

  2. So many things to address, so little time:

*Rob, the key to living in a crack house is make sure there are some crack-addicted people around who will clean all day in the hopes of getting some free crack.

    *Damn, already forgot No. 2.

  3. Dibs – was it something named Chens or something like that
I don’t eat Chinese food so I wouldn’t know what is good up here. However, I suspect I would like “real Chinese” food though and not the stuff they serve us “Go Kei” or whatever the Chinese call Ghosts! hahahaha

  4. Not an eye freak, bxgrl! That was exactly my problem when I first needed glasses – I was getting bad headaches, and it turns out right eye had been compensating for left eye and couldn’t do it anymore. Now they’re both bad, and I think progressives are next in line for me.

  5. rob – advice given so far on wood staining is right. you can also go to downtown floor supplies on lafayette just north of bleecker for more advice. they’re super nice there and most of the guys there are cute in a guido way.
