    If we’re doing Manhattan – there’s a place that just opened (by a friend of a friend) on Elizabeth btw Houston and Prince called “Jo’s”

    I could understand if people would rather do a centrally located brooklyn joint though.

  3. dave – i go to 3 of the grand sichuans regularly – 24th st, st. marks and 7th ave south. gotta say that they are all different even though they have the same owner. the chefs at 7th ave south are my favorite. and if you haven’t been – another lure is the quality of eye-candy there for you. customers and workers.

    mopar – i looked up your suggestion and realize it’s not part of the same chain. slight variation in name. is phoenix garden still open around there? how’s it doing these days?
