  1. i’m curious why so many people revere MJ. and i mean *revere* – that is what i find bizarre. he is worshiped by many people not only in the us but around the world. it begs the question, why?

  2. Dave,

How are the What’s predictions really relevant though? Do you think it stopped anyone from buying a home, having a child, living their lives or enjoying their golden years?? All of the What’s “predictions” have been covered ad nauseam by the news and having a couple month jump on that news has done nothing for me personally.

Has anyone else here changed the direction of their lives because someone named “The What” predicted certain things about the economy on this website? He’s like a financial terrorist, and I find the best way to combat it is to continue living your life, not to give into the constant fear he likes to spread. It’s absurd.

  3. Snappy, Don’t get me wrong, I do mean to discredit them in any way, shape or form. I practically own the whole Zep and Stones catalogs but I don’t listen to the constantly on loop and I don’t invoke them every time a discussion about music comes up. They are brilliant and I enjoy it in moderation. I don’t invoke them any and every single time a discussion on music happens. I wish to god the same were true with regard of the public’s worship of the Beatles.

There are others who have done wonderful, inventive and groundbreaking things in the musical arena and will continue to do so.

I find it much more exciting to continue to search for the next, the new.

  4. Sorry bout the double postings. My browser is on the fritz. Just a like MJ tribute.

I dressed up like MJ for Halloween 3 years in a row when I was 7,8,9 years old. I had down all the moves.

He was destoyed by his own excess, but I will chose to remember him like he was when I was a child.

My money is on pain killers, what do you think killed him?
