Don’t worry – the US will have to come around. It’s inevitable.
In the meantime, buy Areva (CEI FP) – biggest builder of nuclear power stations in the world.
Yes, only one new nuclear project in the US that timeframe -NRG’s South Texas 2 project. Still in the approval process(and NRG is the subject of an unsolicited takeover bid from Excelon).
They have a design partnership with Toshiba, which they are hoping to leverage into designing reactors elsewhere.
Have to chime in- I had such a great time and everyone was so much fun. Rob and I talked a lot and he did get home ok.Biff- you’re a peach! MM and I protected Amzi from his many admirers (he’s reserved for my niece, dammit!) and we walked almost to Atlantic Ave, admiring the gorgeous houses and the company of deLepp and M4L. See guys- I told you he was cute! I enjoyed meeting all the usernames :-). Biff (and I realize we all recovering from hangovers this morning) when’s the next one?
Yes, chicken it is. But alas, the US will lag the rest of the world in new nuclear reactors. Of all the reactors to be builkt globally between now and 2020, China India and Russia will build 52% of them and the US will build 5%.
hey. nice to see everyone! wish i could have been more mobile, but had a good time. i somehow managed to limp home with some help. thanks to everyone for arranging, and showing up, and being a very nice, laid back group of people. 🙂
