I couldn’t stand those “old” people. Sell the house for cheap and move to Arizona already. Dont we also have an age cutoff at the other end (ie noone under 30 allowed)? Why weren’t there some verbal and/or hand-hand combat? Couldn’t stand see everyone being friendly, laughing,….. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
My pleasure, everyone. I thought it went really well and was very happy with Rope…the pre-event pub crawl to find a suitable venue seemed to pay off. I want to thank Rope’s Manager, Frank, and the two incredibly friendly and efficient bartenders (one was Paul and unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the woman…they were both terrific). Other than the fact it was a slight hike from public transportation, I thought it was an ideal bar.
Thanks to all who attended, especially the first-timers such as Arkady, christopher and Heather, the injured but very game Snappy and CG ups, and Nokilissa, whom we were thrilled to see re-emerge. Also many thanks to sixyears and jessibaby for the ride home.
I counted 31 attendees, which is what I predicted. Let me know if I’m missing anyone; for some reason my mind is a bit fuzzier than usual today:
It was a great time, again! As always, great to catch up with familiar people and meet new ones. My only regret at these events is that I never seem to have enough time to talk with as many people as I would like for as long as I would like.
And as Denton and Amzi said – really appreciate Biff’s efforts in setting it up.
ok, sorry I missed him then.

Mr B was there for a while.
And did Mr. B show up? Didn’t see him when we left at 10PM. Biff does it his his own hood, and he bails?
“Is home ownership that stressful? ”
