  1. Biff, I used to work over at Waterside Plaza. My office hung right over the East River and I’d watch the helicopters take off and land. Friday’s from noon on was the busiest time.

Oh to live that life *sigh*.

  2. No matter how much money I had I would never have a house in the Hamptons. Why deal with that traffic to & from and once you get there it’s full of obnoxious new yorkers and the restaurants are even worse.

  3. “Chicken–how do you pronounce “arse” phonetically?

“Chicken–please–I need to know about “arse”. The Aussies say “ahhs”, the Irish say “airse”, what do you guys say?

Generally, it’s “ahhs” like the aussies but the farmers version is “arrrrrrrssssssssss”

my best friends growing up that are still my best friends today are either Italian or Jewish. so I consider myself honorary Italish. Then I have the black husband and of course I have an automatic “pass” for that crew!
hahaha – meantime am pretty much Irish however my dad’s dad is from Barbados!
THL – I think you are Italian right? or Armenian maybe?

  5. What, the only time you actually make sense is when you paste something straight from the Wall Street Journal. Your constant amateur financial analysis doesn’t fool any of us who actually work in the industry. Save it for your eTrade discussion board.

Guys, I’m not an idiot. I know I can get something under $2k in Fort Greene. But at this point in my life, I’m not looking for the cheapest apt I can find. We want something decent without getting ripped off and that’s the amount we’ve budgeted to spend. We choose to live in Brooklyn because we prefer it to the other boroughs.
