THL, I’ve already seen the Wiggles live twice. I think I have a good sense of the torture I’m going to endure concert-wise down the road. Actually, The Wiggles at least had catchy tunes, unlike the Barney songs that made parents want to french kiss a Colt 45.
i dont do twitter (tho according to ENY we all do it in this thread) or myspace. those sites are trouble. i get all creeped out with my facebook account and having family members, coworkers, friends, frenemies, old roommates, etc all just jumbled into a giant mess. half the time i just want to deactivate that account. people these days are losing the important boundary between self and other and private versus public information.
My first concert was Menudo and my dad took me to see it.
So brace yourself. Those Champettes are going to be wanting to go see a Demi Lovato or whoever the big teen thing is one day and guess who’ll have to sit through it with them?
Come to think of it, maybe you can have Rob take them…
“Rob, seriously; I have a feeling the most of the posters here haven’t gone to see their teenage idols since Frankie Avalon and Brenda Lee stopped touring.”
Just you wait until the champettes are pre-teens/teenagers Biff! And they ask you to get tickets to see the teen idol of that time! You’ll be singing a different tune! : )
then some really mean guy like asked me for my card and i was like don’t have one and he threw me and all my friends out. omg SOOOO bummed hope i can sneak in this time
