denton, not so sure they will though. I have a friend being told that they owe a small amount on a college loan. My friend says he has checks/statements to prove it was paid. Still they are charging him interest. The govt is snatching his tax refund, but not garnishing wages. Apparently this issue has been ongoing for some time. So…I’m not so sure they will garnish for school loan. Although I know they can and do for other things and every case may be diffferent. Interesting that Rob’s refund wasn’t snatched back!
I guess that was the next dumb question. 🙂
